What's with those chinese cartoons and killing off surrendering enemies? In recent weeks couple of shows episodes had this moment. They sure love to show protagonists as some sort cold-blooded murderers who are not better than their most amoral opponents, just overpowering and undefeatable due to some sort of in-story cheat (sometimes literal, sometimes due to allying with powerful spirit, finding powerful artefact or transported back in time, basically never due to honest progression).

As I noticed, not a single chinese cartoons said that killing by itself is bad - even where MC abstain and tell his reasons it is always due to political considerations or other beneficial reasons, like attaining favors. Even crazy americans, with their action shows packed with people killing their opponents in hundreds without remorse and weird censorship laws where showing a boob is a bigger crime and get bigger age rating than thousand of non-gory kills, sometimes in their action movies argue against murder process.

The hell, even some wuxia movies have chars who intentionally try not kill but not frigging cartoons for kids and teenagers.
